Offering great all around performance and an almost overwhelming

Over the past year I've setup and used several Network Attached

last one I'll use. It is fast, feature-packed and works as advertised.

The Plextor PX-EH25L 250Gb Professional Network Attached Storage
was a huge surprise in a small package. Plextor did the right
thing by keeping the device very simple, easy to use and Windows
compatible without the need of special software. They also didn't
hold back on the quality of the device itself. At $299, the Plextor
Professional Network Attached Storage device is a real bargain.

If you need a piece of hardware to use from within
MythTV, you should consider the Plextor ConvertX PX-TV402U. The
quality of the recorded video is excellent, and the system resource
usage of the unit is extremely low, which means you get excellent
performance when using it from within MythTV. The unit is also
a welcome possibility for video capture on laptops since very
few options currently exist.

Does it work?
Yes, it actually does work and it doesn't really require any type
of special setup to make it work. You plug it in, you tell MythTV
about the new Plextor ConvertX and that's all that you ever have
to do.

When
I think about people in the Linux world that have set good examples,
I think of Linus Torvalds, Eric Raymond and yes, even Richard
Stallman. They all did something positive for free software and
Linux in particular. Thousands of us soon in the future could
be reaping the benefits of Plextor's gift to the free software
world in terms of their excellent developer who so graciously
gave of himself in working on this project to produce a Linux
SDK.
