If
you purchased your Plextor drive from Plextor Europe
or Plextor Japan, please contact their respective
RMA departments. If you purchased your Plextor drive
in America, and currently live outside the U.S. or
Canada, we can process your return and replace your
drive, however, you will be responsible for paying
freight to and from Fletcher, Ohio. All In-Warranty
customers within the U.S. are reponsible to pay the
freight to Fletcher, Ohio, and Plextor will pay for
the freight back to the customer.
Prior
to requesting a RMA
number, you must first contact technical support at
800.204.0332 or email to techsupport-it@plextor.com
for assistance in troubleshooting your issue.
Many problems are actually caused by system issues,
not drive problems, there fore many drives returned
to Plextor are found non-defective..
Plextor's
standard turn-around time is 5-7 business days from
the date the defective unit arrives on Plextor's dock.
